Particle Animation with Anim8or v0.7

Final remarks

Particle Animation is slow for high number of particles, so you have to test the animation with as few particles as possible. Particles that are not visible (temporarily eclipsed by other objects) should be key framed as hidden. This speeds up the animation, sometimes considerably.

Choose the particles to obtain the desired effect with minimum polygon count. As I already said, particles could be very different and it is no restriction on how many items make up a particle. That means you may use, for example, several spheres in object01 to have a thicker smoke with the same number of particles. On the other hand, you can use different types of particles in the same animation, as I did in “magma.avi”. In this case the particles (eobjects) will reference randomly different objects (object01, object02, …).

E-mail me your suggestion and
have fun!
