Directions
1. Open Anim8or and create a new project
2. Add a single object to your project in object mode
3. Save the project and note the path ie: (c:\path to your anim8orfiles)
4. Launch AniTweak and enter the path to your project in the appropriate box
(include the .an8 extension for now)
5. Click View File and get the object name from line 9 (This should be object01
if you did not change it in an8, if you imported an object then you will have
to change this value)
6. Now set the number if instances, how many frames you want your explosion
to last and the upper and lower bounds. (bounds are how far your explosion explodes)
* For even explosions make the lower bound the opposite of the upper
* If upper bound = 250 then make the lower -250
7. Click Generate (******ONLY CLICK ONE TIME*********)
8. You can hit view again to look at the edited project file
9. Exit AniTweak
10. Go back to Anim8or and reopen your project
11. Goto Scene mode and watch your explosion
Notes:
- If you want to make another explosion you need to create a new project with
a single object
- After creating your explosion with AniTweak you can edit the object in object
mode as the explosion is just a bunch of instances of the same object
- I know the interface is Clunky, I am working on it, I just wanted to get a
preliminary version out for testing and feedback
- If you run into out of memory issues lower the number of instances, this will
be fixed shortly, I HOPE!!!
- Remember I am new to anim8or, I really don't know the prorgam that well yet,
as I learn it I will add more and more
- If anyone wants to help let me know!!!
